Animal Control Is A Scary Place To Be

The animals in this video are in the Lafayette Animal Control at 613 Pont Des Mouton Road in Lafayette, Louisiana. There are many animal rescue volunteers with various non-kill rescue groups who do their best to save these poor souls who find themselves on death row at a euthanizing facility. Their time is very limited. If our rescues had the room and the money, there would be no animals in the Lafayette Animal Control. But, sadly, we can not save them all. We need YOUR help! If you are local and can adopt or foster, please do so! If you are not local, either check out your local animal control or your local non-kill rescue who saves from the pound, to adopt or foster in your area. If you can not adopt or foster, please consider donating to a non-kill rescue that helps save animals in danger at their local animal controls. man if i could i would go there now and adopt every single animal there just to see there lives change watching this video reminds me of how ppl could b so evil to these poor things! wat did they do to desurve some life like dis! if one person would tell me wat is so important to hurt them like this i would never no!! well fuck them for ever puttin there hands on them hope they go to hell!! man i wish i could b u! see those animals eyes ya it hurts but still just bin there is wat counts right?

ya i would to i have pets and they are very happy i wish that it waz illegal to euthanize animals or even kill animals i wish that oneday that will come true:)……..Hopefully

I wish there was no such horrible place as the animal control. I mean, if an animal is there for I think a week, they euthinise it. If I ever saw someone euthenise an animal just because they haven’t got a home yet, I’d really wring their neck. I’m not lying.

ya i wish there were… im trying to teach younger kids how to be animal lovers and not to abuse any animals and try to help them:)

ya its way to harsh for animals to be in there i have two dogs and 1 cat and one hamster and i love them 2 death i take good care of them and im going to rescue a dog probaly next week depends on my parents
If you are local to Lafayette, Louisiana, then you can go down to Lafayette Animal Control and adopt an animal in need. If you are not local, then you can check with your local animal control and save a life there. Thanks!
I too do not understand why anyone could be so heartless. I also understand your reaction. However, responding to animal beaters in that manner does not make us any different from them. There are laws to protect animals, so the key is to prosecute the abusers and stop the cycle. Thanks.
I agree. It is harsh. These videos are very difficult to make and to watch. But, every life is precious, and these animals all deserve a chance at a happy life.
